    This paper deals with the optimal transfer between two circularorbits by dual impulse according to the theory of optimization.The mathe-matical formulation and the solving equations of this problem are given.Solutions for several special examples are obtained.

    The necessity of lightening the weight of the mirror for spaceoptical instrument is stated in this paper.The selection of material andstructure of lightweight mirror is also discussed.The deformation oflightweight mirror resulting from the external forces acting on it iscalculated using the finite element method.Finally the performances of theweight-lightened mirror are described.

    This paper presents analysis of nonlinearity and its resulitedintermodulation(IM)effect of the amplifier of the satellite transponder.Polynomial approximation and Artificial Neural Network(ANN)simulationdata have been obtained from the singlecarrier power transfer curve of thetested amplifier.Comparisons have been made between the results,showingthat the nonlinearity analysis and simulation method presented in thisarticle using ANN concept is of theoretical importance and practical valueto the nonlinear problem resolution.

    With development of the space technology it is possible toapply the space station as a launch base for spaceerafts of interplanetaryflight.From the point of view of energy requirement it is of benefit to makefull use of the hyperbolic velocity excess to put the spacecraft directly intothe transfer orbit for the other planet after the spacecraft takes off fromthe space station and flies away from the orbit of space station.

    Simultaneous physical retrieval methods(SPRM)is one of themost prevalent methods in satellite atmosphere remote sensing in U.S.A..It has been getting perfect with the advance of the development in theoryand practice.Our numerical comparison test is to fit it in satellite dataretrieval process and in application of meteorological operation and scienti-fic studies.It can be simply called an improved SPRM(ISPRM).The ac-curacy of ISPRM is obviously better than the SPRM's,demonstrated by alot of retrieval test results of NOAA-10 meteorological satellite soundingdata.

    Tests of some space materials on resistivity against atomicoxygen were carried out by using our radio frenquency oxygen plasmareactor.These materials involves aluminized kapton,polytetrafluoroethylene,polyester film,polyimide,silastic,carbon/epoxy composite,kevlar,as well asAg,Cu,Al foid and optical solar reflector.Mass loss rate,surfacespecific resistance,solar absorptivity(α_s)and infrared radiance(ε)afteroxygen plasma exposure were measured.Furthermore,experimental resultsand feasibility were discussed.

    According to experimental results and related oversea materials,this paper proves that the disorder of blood circulation of humanand animal during weightlessness and simulated weightlessness is verysimilar to the changes accompanied by the discase called“blood stasis”in Chinese medicine.The writer puts forward the opinion that the Chinesemedicine herbs used to invigorate the blood circulation and eliminate theblood stasis have great capability to prevent the blood circulation disorderduring space flight.
