    External Design of Chinese Manned Spaceflight Engineering

    When the aim of journey to and from between space and earth is realized in the "Shen Zhou"manned spaceship engineering,the next target of Chinese manned spaceflight will be chosen carefully.According to the needs of Chinese society ,the external social and engineering system environment of space station for utilizing space microgravity mass environment and spaceflight station Provided services for docking spacecraft are discussed.There are good basis on launch vehicle,launch and retrieval bases, and monitor stations in China.As"Shen Zhou"manned spaceship is developed,it is not difficulty to develop cargo spaceship.But the astronaut system for ensuring astronaut's life and work and valuable payload system for realizing spaceflight engineering is deficient.Now it is still in research,test,training,development and demonstration phase.

    Nonlinear Control Without Velocity Measurement for Satellite Formation Flying

    Based on the nonlinear model, the problem of control f or satellite formation flying is investigated. First the exact nonlinear dynamics equations of relative motion is derived. Then the control law without velocity measurement is designed based on a filter and the closed loop system is proven t o be globally asymptotically stable. At last, numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the theoretical analysis.

    The mean orbit elements play an important role in sate ll ite orbit design and constellation simulation On the basis of the domestic and overseas research results,a simplified but practical mutual transform between os culating orbit elements and mean orbit elements is given,which has no singularit y The practice in the constellation design and simulation demonstrates that this method is well and truly useful By taking advantage of the mean orbit elements,an interesting result is also given about the circular orbits in the equator plane

    Design of Hardware Decompression System Based on RBC Algorithm

    An image hardware decompression system based on the RBC algorithm is designed. Firstly,the decoding flow of RBC is described in this pap er. Secondly, a VLSI architecture realizing this decoding algorithm is proposed. Finally,the VLSI architecture is implemented in FPGAs,and decompression ASICs ar e produced.Test results show that the data processing speed of the hardware syst em made up of these ASICs is so fast that meet the requirement of real-time imag e decompression.

    Natural convection is often practically suppressed or eliminated by lowering the cabin pressure in the ground test of spacecraft. Parameters affecting the optimum pressure are unknown in general, thus resulting in uncertainty of the effect of the suppression. The method determining the optimum pressure via numerical analysis is proposed in this paper. Spacecraft cabins on the ground with various pressures are simulated. Analytical results are compared directly with that of the cabin in orbit, thus figuring out the optimum pressure on the ground to simulate a flying cabin.

    The feasible test of laser-driven debris techni q ue is introduced.In the test,four bonding methods are compared,and the velocity of aluminum flyer is also measured in a vacuum chamber. Moreover the damage asse ssment on two protective materials is performed.The results of the test show it is necessary and also feasible to build a set of complete laser-driven deb ris devices on the ground.

    The thermal analysis is carried out for the communicatio n satellite platform.Through comparing the predicted results with the thermal ba lance test results and modifying the thermal model,the predicted results are alm ost at the ±5℃ range of the test results.So the thermal modeling met hod for the communication satellite platform is established,which can be also used as reference for other satellite platforms.

    A deployable parabolic reflector of truss mesh antenna i s described.The antenna has the characters of high deployed/stowed ratio,small a rea mass density and broadband frequency.It can be used for Synthetic Aperture R ader(SAR)antenna of small satellite and other S or L band antenna such as mobile satellite antenna.Deployable dimension of the parabolic reflector is 6m×2 8m. The frequency is S band with bandwidth greater than 100MHz.The antenna configura tions and structure design of the key parts are introduced,and the shape error a ssigning,thermal distortion and stiffness is analyzed.The test results of labora tory model show the structure design is practicable and feasible.

    Exponential distribution assumption is commonly used i n availability analysis of Markov models,but fault density and maintenance density of some components are not expressed by exponential distribution.Based on numer ical integral,a new availability calculation method is presented for exponential distribution,normal distribution,lognormal distribution and Weibull distributio n.The presented method can be easily used in availability analysis for engineeri ng components.
