The relative motion features between satellite and strictlyregressive reference orbit were investigated to build a tubenavigation method of remotesensing satellite. Since the reference orbit was designed only with the high precision nonspherical perturbation, it had a different dynamic environment with the satellite in space, leading an excursion in alongtrack direction. An alongtrack aligning algorithm was introduced to get rid of the excursion in alongtrack direction based on high precision orbit dynamic model and position sampling method, by which the phasetime excursion and relative motion trajectory were determined. The direct least squares fitting method was introduced to achieve the features of relative motion trajectory. The study on tubenavigation can be applied to autonomous groundtrack keeping of satellites with GNSS measurements.
